The Illinois Department of Transportation held a series of public hearings on March 26, 27 and April 1,2,3, 2014. The purpose of the hearings was to present the remaining alternatives of US 51 and gather input to aid in the selection of the Preferred Alternative. The meeting was open-house format with project staff available for discussion and questions.
